What does a Graphic Designer do at Cosmos Collective?‍

Monday. You arrive at the office, excited to get started on the design for the landing page for Jims’ new ad campaign. Time flies by, team lunch is served. To finalize the landing page you edit some images, and there, it’s good to go!

On Tuesdays you work from home, so you can focus on creating social media templates and presentation templates for Smart with Food, so they can use those internally.

Wednesday morning you are briefed on a new experiment: we’re creating a (fake) brand to test a new product. You can’t wait to start designing the logo and deciding on the colors and fonts. After this, the brand book is done in no time!

On Thursday you design a mini-website based on the brand you made yesterday. It needs to look real so our target audience is attracted to the product and won’t notice that it isn’t a real brand. 

Wow, it's Friday already! In the morning you design a Cosmos Collective ebook about validation. You love to create things with our own visual brand and guard that everyone uses it in the right way. At lunchtime a healthy (or less healthy) team lunch is waiting for you. After lunch you design an email template that complements the e-book. Before you go home, you enjoy a drink with the team!

What do you bring to the table?

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about their job and loves the thrill of a start-up. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty and to take action.

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a content creating / graphic design position
• You have experience in designing for print as well as for web, so you have an understanding of UX and UI and you implement that in your web designs
• You are passionate about design & visual content
• Since you're an expert, you are capable of creating visual content without too much guidance. You take the lead in designing all visual content
• Adobe suite doesn’t have any secrets for you (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, …) and if you know how to work with video editing software, like After Effects, Premiere Pro,... that’s a plus!
• You are fluent in Dutch and English
• You are result-driven, flexible, value transparent communication and dare to take ownership
